Twisted Reflections
Twisted Reflections explores the push-and-pull between fluid motion and architectural order. Broad, wavy bands weave across a lattice of rectangles, each layer built up to reveal texture and depth. The palette centres on saturated greens, accented by crimson and small flashes of orange, which lift the composition and create lively focal points. Light catches the textured surface differently from every angle, so the work changes subtly as you move around it.
The piece was designed to engage: the curves suggest movement and natural forms, while the geometric elements provide structure and rhythm. That tension—flow versus frame—creates momentum without chaos. Viewers often find themselves following a line, then pausing at a repeated square, a small red mark, or a scraped texture that hints at process. Those traces are intentional: they reveal the act of making and invite closer inspection rather than delivering a single, fixed message.
